Booking Conditions
· A 15% deposit of the full amount due is required to confirm any reservations. · · The balance of the contract price must be received by the company 30 days before the departure date. · · If the contract price is not received by the company before the departure date, the company must cancel the reservation and retain any deposit of other funds it has already received from the client or his agent. Cancellations: · Any cancellation of a booking must be done in writing to the company · · Should the safari be cancelled then the following cancellation fees will apply: 4 - 6 weeks notice: 15%2 - 4 weeks notice: 25%less than 2 weeks: 50%less than 2 days: 100%
· Contract: · The contract will become effective as from the date the client`s booking is confirmed in writing and the deposit is received by cholwe Adventures & Lodge limited. · · The contract is subject to Zambian law · · Any person making the reservation as per the enclosed accepts the terms and conditions of this agreement set out herewith. ·
Price changes/changes to tours: · The company reserves the right to increase the price on any tour prior to departure. Due to factors beyond the control of the company, such as, but without being limited to ,an increase in fuel price, new government legislation, accommodation price increase , fluctuations’ in the exchange rate etc. · · The company shall at anytime have right, at its entire discretion, to alter the terms of the booking in relation to the route, timetables, itinerary and accommodation. The company shall however, make every effort to offer the client an alternative tour of comparable standards. Should the alternative be of a lesser standard, the client will be refunded the difference, but should there be an increase, the client shall have the right to either rejecting the alternative tour or claiming refund, such rejection shall be treated as a cancellation and the refund will be calculated according to the above cancellation policy. · Responsibility and liability: · Neither the company nor any other person acting for, through or on behalf of the company shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the foregoing shall particularly not be responsible for the loss or damage arising from any errors or omissions contained in this brochure or other literature, late or non- confirmation or acceptance of booking loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death, whether occasioned by negligence or not · · The company shall have the right at any time at its sole discretion, to cancel ormake any alterations in route, accommodation, price and other interference. The extra expenses incurred as a result thereof shall bethe responsibility of the client · · The company may at its discretion and without any liability or cost to itself at anytime time cancel or terminate a client`s booking and in particular, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, it shall be entitled to do so in the event of illness or the illegal or the incompatible behaviour of any client undertaking the tour, who shall in such circumstances not be entitled to any refund · Client`s Obligations: · It is the onus and responsibility of the client to obtain the necessary comprehensiveinsurance before departure for any possible cancellation, medical expenses, protection of property and money · · The onus is upon the client to ensure that passports and visas are valid for the duration of the safari. The company cannot be held liable for any necessary visas or other travel documents not held by the client in the event of a client not having the necessary documentation to enter any area or country the company shall reserve the right to leave the client at the point of entry to such areas or countries. In such an event, the company will not be held responsible to the client for further travel arrangements ·
· The client shall be reasonable fit to join the tour · Your doctor should be contacted foe advice on anti malaria and other precautions well before your departure · Tours did not offer by the company cover a wide spectrum of areas and the company, nor can its employees or agents be held responsible for any injury or other related incidents whilst on safari. Baggage: · Clients are limited to one soft bag per person with a maximum weight of 15 kilograms. This does not include photographic equipment. · · Due to extremely dusty conditions the company shall not be held responsible for any damage to photographic equipment/similar, it is up to the guests to ensure all bags are dust proof. · General: · Clients with special requests should advise the company in advance in order to prepare accordingly |
